Are You Dateable?

We're doing a session about being dateable at church! I've been waiting for ages to talk about something that is actually relevant and interesting (not just how to evangelize and lovely stuff like that). Anyways, I've been focusing on the different rules they feature in the book and would like to share them with you!
#1. Accept your girly-ness.
"Be proud of all that means. You are soft, you are gentle, you are a woman." I know that guys hate it when I do masculine, disgusting things around them, but even more importantly, I hate it when I do masculine, disgusting things around guys! I will never get used to being entirely "comfortable" around him; I try, but it feels so odd. Even initiating anything sexual feels so blatantly manly and foreign to me.
However, one thing that doesn't make me feel girly is the fact that I work, and my boyfriend doesn't. I love to treat him all the time, but I wish he could treat me the same way. I'm willing to wait for that day. :)

See you guys next time!
Danielle.

P.S. I believe there is more way to spiritual "enlightenment", but I have a special bond to the Christian church because I grew up in it. Religion to me is merely something to draw inspiration and hope from, so please don't be offended by the religious nature of this post.
